Hi readers! I’m excited to share this fun look I wore over the weekend for a dinner. According to Aryana it’s a little bit aztec and a little bit rocker, which I hope explains my creative title… what do you think?
I was lusting over a sleeveless sweater at Zara awhile ago, but they were out of my size. Luckily, H&M, (just realized I’ve had H&M in everything I’ve posted so far on this blog, whoops) had this one! They currently have a few colors to choose from, but I went with this off-white one. Asymmetrical cut, loose fitting, and a pretty good quality knit for the price! I had fun throwing together bright colors with such a neutral top, and it all started with the necklace. This is one of my favorite statement pieces EVERRR. I saw it in the (surprise, surprise) H&M ads two summers ago when Queen Bey was the face of their campaign and knew I had to have it. Not kidding, I went to multiple stores across Manhattan to find this and finally, in SoHo, there was ONE left. 🙂 🙂
If you currently do not have a cobalt blue bag in your closet, I suggest buying one! I bought this from Shoe Dazzle a couple years ago and it has completed so many outfits for me. I love colors and I love statement pieces so why not combine the two and invest in pieces that can complete an otherwise neutral look? This particular one has a removable strap, plus it’s studded- always a yes for me! I don’t think LuLu’s carries the aztec print sandals anymore (fashion closet perks!), but be sure to check out the similar options I included above!
So this picture was Aryana’s idea… she stood above me! I think it turned out pretty cool!
